Aspen Alumni Annual Meeting 2019
Conference, Debate
Auditorio Uría Menéndez
On the 9th of July, we celebrated the Annual Aspen Alumni Meeting with alumni and friends who support the work of Aspen Institute España. On this occasion, we had the pleasure of hosting Wiliam Powers, writer, journalist, technologist, and researcher at the MIT MediaLab, who spoke with María Sicilia, Director of International Strategy at Enagás, on the role of digital technology and its power to change human relationships. During the conference on “Being Human Again: The Power of Time Offline“, William Powers and María Sicilia also exchanged views on digital disconnection, common human values, and the economization of ¨attention¨, among other topics.
