Aspen Alumni Dialogue in Barcelona
On December 9, the Aspen Institute España hosted its first Aspe Alumni Dialogue in Barcelona, with the support of the Barcelona City Council. This gathering brought together alumni from all Aspen Institute España programs at the historic Saló de Cròniques of the Barcelona City Hall.
The event started with a guided tour of City Hall at 5:30 p.m. for interested attendees. Formal proceedings started at 6:30 p.m. with welcome remarks by Laia Claverol, Local Manager of Barcelona City Hall followed by a brief dialogue between José M. de Areilza, Secretary General of Aspen Institute España, Jaume Duch, Minister for the European Union and External Action of the Generalitat de Catalunya and Pablo García-Berdoy, Ambassador of Spain and European Public Affairs Leader at LLYC.
After the discussion, guests were invited to enjoy a Spanish wine reception to conclude the evening.
