Aspen Ideas «State and Outlook of the European Economy»

 

Aspen Institute España will hold next Thursday, 23 June from 9.30 to 11.00h a session of the Aspen Ideas Online Program on “State and Outlook of the European Economy” with Óscar Arce, Director General for Economics at the European Central Bank. The session will be moderated by Fiona Maharg Bravo, Director of Brunswick Group and Aspen España Fellow.

 

This Series brings together a group of outstanding leaders from various sectors of society: entrepreneurs, academics, public officials, scientists, artists, and politicians, among others, to discuss different aspects of the current economy and its impact on society. Previous speakers have been Manuel de la Rocha, Secretary General for Economic Affairs and G20 in the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government of Spain, Nadia Calviño, Third Vice-President and Minister for Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of the Government of Spain, and Pablo Hernández de Cos, Governor of the Bank of Spain, among others

 

Aspen Ideas Program

The Aspen Ideas Program aims to provide a forum for debate on current issues for emerging leaders from different sectors of society, many of whom have already participated in Aspen España programs. On the occasion of the publication of books or in the light of current affairs, we bring together groups of 30 people for debates with experts on geopolitics, new technologies, leadership, energy and international economics. This Program includes several session formats: Aspen Ideas Espresso, breakfast debates held between 9 am and 11 am, Aspen Ideas@Lunch, lunch debates held between 2 pm and 4 pm, Aspen Ideas Online, debates held in digital format, and Aspen Ideas Alumni, dinner debates held from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm for Alumni who have participated in other Aspen Seminars.
