On February 13th, 2019, Aspen Institute España celebrated a new Aspen Ideas Espresso with Óscar Fanjul, Board Member for Aspen Institute España and Vicepresident of Omega Capital, on “The Future of Monetary Policy and Central Banks”.
Aspen Ideas@Lunch is a forum for emerging leaders from different sectors of the society, many of whom have already participated in Aspen Institute España programs, to discuss current issues wth experts on geopolitics, new technologies, leadership, energy, and the international economy.
Speaker Biography:
Óscar Fanjul, Vicepresidente of Omega Capital and LafargeHolcim. Oscar is an Independent Consultant for the Management Board at Ferrovial since 2018, as well as a consultant for Marsh & McLennan and Acerinox. Previously, he was president of Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, non-executive Preseident of NGH Hotels and Deoleo, and a consultant for Unilever, BBVA, the London Stock Exchange and Aerva. He has also consulted the President´s Office for the European Union, and is a board member of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
