Foro Aspen Italia – España

Aspen Institute España and Aspen Institute Italia will host the Foro Aspen Italia – España “Europe at a Crossroads: Strategic Dialogue between Italy and Spain” which will take place in Rome on November 19 and 20, 2025.

The meeting, which will be held in English and under the Chatham House Rule, will begin on Wednesday, November 19, with a welcome dinner. The working sessions will take place on Thursday, November 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This new program aims to bring together prominent figures from Spain and Italy to reflect on the shared challenges and opportunities faced by both countries, at a time marked by an increasing convergence of strategic interests beyond political differences. Among these common themes are the prioritization of the Mediterranean and the need to mobilize European resources—both public and private—to drive the energy and digital transitions.
