On the 16th and 17th of November, 2017, Aspen Institute España and ESADE Business School celebrated a new edition of the Future of Spain Seminar on “The crisis of political representation in Spain” and “The future of work in Barcelona.
The Future of Spain seminar is a space where participants can reflect on frontier issues around the economy, politics, and Spanish society. This edition of the seminar brought together a group of recognized and emerging leaders from diverse sectors of society to participate in conversations with experts Luis Villa, Strategic Director at Fjord, and Ignacio Urquizu, member of the Congress of Deputies in Spain, moderated by Íñigo Alfonso, journalist and presenter at RNE-RTVE, and Cristina Manzano, columnist at El Periódico de Cataluña. A fireside chat on “The Future of Europe in a World in Upheavel” was given by Martin Wolf (@martinwolf_), Chief Economics Commentator at the Financial Times,
