International Committee Meeting (IC Meeting) & CityLab 2026

On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, Aspen Institute España will host the Spring International Committee Meeting from 23 to 26 April 2026 in a setting of outstanding historical and natural significance: La Granja de San Ildefonso (Segovia). This international gathering will bring together representatives from the Aspen Institutes around the world in a program designed to strengthen connections among international partners and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The program will include working sessions in emblematic venues such as the Royal Palace of La Granja, as well as an Aspen seminar held in the historic Centro Guardia de Corps building. Over the course of these days, participants will share moments of reflection, cultural visits, and informal encounters that will contribute to strengthening a global network committed to the common good. Accommodation will be provided at the Casa de los Infantes, an 18th-century building now part of Spain’s National Parador network.

Following the IC Meeting, the international CityLab conference will take place in Madrid. Organized by Bloomberg Philanthropies and The Aspen Institute (U.S.), this global forum has established itself as one of the leading spaces for the exchange of ideas on the future of cities, bringing together public leaders, urbanists, innovators, and representatives of local governments from around the world.
