Justice and Civil Society Seminar 2019
The Justice and Civil Society Program operates as a forum for open dialogue between esteemed professionals in the legal field. The program is not exclusively limited to lawyers, and also includes representatives of the judicial profession, notary publics, professors, etc. In each edition of the Program, we bring together a group of 25-30 participants. Among other proponents of the initiative are Antonio Hernández-Gil, Teresa Arsuaga, Carlos Álvarez-Romero, José María Segovia, Román Gil Albuquerque, and José M. de Areilza.
The Justice & Civil Society Program brings together a wide range of legal experts to discuss the value of justice and the relationship between policies public and fundamental rights. The Program operates as an open dialogue forum among representatives of the various legal professions existing in Spain including judges, lawyers, notaries, senior government officials, NGO representatives and academics.
The moderators of the session were Román Gil Alburquerque, Aspen España Fellow, lawyer and partner of Sagardoy Abogados, and David Blázquez, Aspen España Fellow and Head of Strategy, Public Affairs, Telefónica.
