Tech & Society Debate “Security, Technology, and the Future” with Mikko Hypponen

Aspen Institute España, in collaboration with Fundación Telefónica, will hold the fourth session of the VIII Edition of the Tech & Society Program with Mikko Hypponen, Chief Research Officer at WithSecure and Principal Research Advisor at F-Secure. The debate will be moderated by Jonathan Nelson, director of Risk Intelligence at Alto Intelligence.

Every new technological innovation brings both opportunities and challenges; we cannot embrace the benefits without also confronting the risks. Our systems face threats not only from organized cybercrime groups but also from state-sponsored actors. In the near future, we may see fully automated malware campaigns driven by machine learning and generative AI. How should we approach these technological shifts in our work?
