Carlos Sallé is an Industrial Engineer, electrical specialty, from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Carlos is the Director of Energy Policies and Climate Change of the Iberdrola Group, reporting directly to the President. He was one of the founders, a decade ago, of the NGO Energía Sin Fronteras, specialized in electrification and water projects in low-income regions. He is a member of the Business Advisory Board of the Center for Public Private Partnerships (PPP) of UNECE (United Nations).

Beatriz is PhD in Political Science from the University of Barcelona and holds a degree in Journalism from the CEU San Pablo University. Passionate about new technologies and their impact on society, she has 15 years of experience in the field of communication. She has held various positions of responsibility in the United Nations, including, among others, in the Hybrid Operation of the African Union and the UN in Darfur (UNAMID), as well as in the Security Council Affairs Division of the Department of Political Affairs and the Department of Field Support in New York. Beatriz has also held communication functions at ESADE and other international organizations.

He has got a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Barcelona. He was a Fullbright Fellow at MIT (USA) and a postdoc at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen. He then became associate professor at the University of Barcelona and, later, full professor in Theoretical Physics. He has written over 100 papers on Particle Physics and Quantum Information and has directed 12 PhD thesis. He was a founder of the Centro de Ciencias de Benasque Pedro Pascual. He produced two documentaries, one of them on the last voice of the Manhattan Project. He works on Artificial Intelligence and was a founder of the NNPDF collaboration. Born in Paris in 1983, Diego studied philosophy, politics and economics and obtained a Master's degree in International Relations from Sciences Po (Institut d'études politiques de Paris) and a Master's degree in Sociology from Cambridge University, UK, where he conducted one of the first academic studies on the impact of Facebook on human relations (2007). He also studied at the University College London (UCL) and at the University of Bologna. After working at the Clinton Foundation in New York, he moved to Spain for the first time in 2009, where he founded Amovens, the first car-sharing platform in the country. The company today has nearly 2 million users and offers a unique range of car sharing services (ride sharing, car rental between individuals and collaborative leasing).

Nancy Scola is a veteran journalist and magazine writer whose work on the intersections of technology and society is published by the Atlantic, Washingtonian, New York, Reuters, POLITICO Magazine, and many other publications. She has served as both a senior technology reporter at POLITICO and a staffer writer at the Washington Post. Based in Washington, D.C., she is an adjunct professor in journalism and media studies at Georgetown University. Before coming to journalism, Nancy worked in the United States Congress, focused on government oversight. She holds a B.A. in anthropology and Africana studies from the George Washington University, as well as a master’s degree in anthropology from Boston University. She was born and raised in New Jersey.
