With rates of trust in government at all-time low, the legitimacy and effectiveness of traditional political institutions are called into question and there is a great demand for re-imagining how we govern. In this interview, Beth Noveck, director at the Governance Lab (GovLab) and its MacArthur Research Network on Opening Governance, speaks about how digital technology and new ways of working enabled by technology are beginning to change the way public institutions make decisions and solve problems.
