Aspen Alumni Annual Meeting

Aspen Institute España gathered last Tuesday, July 11th all those who have participated in or supported Aspen’s programs and activities in Spain over the last few years. The Aspen Alumni Annual Meeting is always a good opportunity to exchange impressions, meet participants from other programs, and celebrate the end of the year together, as well as an opportunity to thank our Alumni for their support, interest, and commitment to the Aspen Institute España project.

In 2022, we hosted a colloquium on “Europe and the war in Ukraine” with Natalie Jaresko, former Minister of Finance of Ukraine, and Javier Solana, President of Aspen Institute Spain and former High Representative of the Union for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union. Pablo García-Berdoy, former Permanent Representative of Spain to the European Union, moderated the colloquium.

On this occasion, we hosted a colloquium with Arancha Díaz – Lladó, Chief Sustainability Officer of Twinco Capital and Aspen España Fellow, Julia Sánchez Albeal, CEO of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía and Aspen España Fellow, and David R. Peralto, President of the Fundación Teatro Joven and Director of LaJoven. Luis Villa, Independent Consultant in Strategy and Design and Aspen España Fellow, moderated the conversation. After the colloquium, a cocktail took place.
