Aspen Institute España and Fundación Cañada Blanch celebrated the second edition of Aspen – Cañada Blanch Seminar which brought together 20 young emergent leaders, ages 25 to 30, from diferent areas of our society from June 14th to June 16th, 2019, at the Parador de El Saler, Valencia.
This second edition was moderated by Miguel Herrero de Jáuregui, Associate Professor of Classics at the Complutense University in Madrid, and Crista Ruiz de Arana, PhD in Psychology. Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Associate Professor at Pontificia Comillas University in the Masters in General Sanitary Psychology.
Following the leadership programs developed through the years by Aspen Institute España, the Aspen – Cañada Blanch Program on Leadership and Values aims to think and debate about leadership current issues and challenges in the XXI century. Participants debate around a selection of different classic and contemporaneous texts of political philosophy and literature. The seminar also introduces some current political, social and ethical tensions.
The seminar, moderated through the Socrates method used in other Aspen Institute programs, aims to improve the quality of the questions and the debate regarding the current big challenges and the timeless big issues around human values.
