Aspen Ideas: “The US elections in 2020 and the Economy”

Aspen Institute España has celebrated on the 14th of October, 2020 a new session of Aspen Ideas, the series of debates on current issues that Aspen España organizes throughout the year, on “US elections and the Economy” with Stan A. Veuger, Resident Scholar in Economic Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and a Visiting Lecturer of Economics at Harvard University, and Pablo Pardo, El Mundo correspondent in the US and Aspen España Fellow.

This debate is part of the Aspen Ideas sessions we are holding on the “United States Elections” whose first session, held on September 21st, with Elliot Gerson, executive vice president of The Aspen Institute (USA) and former director of Joe Lieberman’s campaign revolved around the question “What can we expect?”, also moderated by Pablo Pardo, US Chief Correspondent for El Mundo and Aspen España Fellow.

The Aspen Ideas @ Lunch and Aspen Espresso Program is a forum for discussion on current issues for emerging leaders from different sectors of society, many of whom have already participated in Aspen Institute España programs. On the occasion of the publication of books or important events, it brings together a group of 30 people for a lunch discussion with experts on topics such as geopolitics, new technologies, leadership, energy, and international economy.
