Aspen Seminar at Bloomberg CityLab
Aspen Institute España and The Aspen Institute (EE. UU.) organized for the first time an Aspen seminar within the framework of Bloomberg CityLab. This Leadership Seminar took place on Monday, 27 April at the Hotel Palace in Madrid, was moderated by Gaspar Atienza, partner at Garrigues and Aspen España Fellow, and brought together around twenty participants from a wide range of sectors of civil society.
The seminar took place within the international Bloomberg CityLab conference, hosted in Madrid and organized by Bloomberg Philanthropies and The Aspen Institute (U.S.). This summit brought together, over three days from 27 to 29 April, more than 1,000 attendees including mayors, policymakers, innovators and creative leaders, with the aim of strengthening local alliances and reinforcing the role of mayors in identifying solutions to shared challenges, promoting practices that are shaping the future of cities and the world.
